This is really good!

It sounds like it could've been used in a professional NES game! Great job!

Awww... Let DOWN... :(

The song started so well and I was thinking I might download, but then the guitars came in.... I expected them to be much heavier and deeper to fit the feel of the song. They work pretty well for the triplets in the middle however. But yeah, the guitars need WAY more emphasis, maybe even lower them an octave.

The beginning was so good, but the guitars let me down.. :( Sorry.

Awesome!

I love the bass that comes in at 0:27! Actually, the bass in the ENTIRE song is awesome! I really like how the song starts off intense, but by the end it's got a little bit of a different feel to it. The key the song is in at the very end makes the song sound a little bit hopeful.

Does the original justice.

I've always been a big fan on Grant Kirkhopes music and this song is a great homage to the composers at rare. My favorite part is at 0:50 when the melody that you came up with yourself comes in. Same thing goes for 1:46. :)

Theme of RAGE!

Anytime I think of Anger now, this song plays in my head :3
There's some sort of clicking noise that happens, but I'm sure you already knew about that. It's only a minor thing and I usually don't notice it. It's cool that you looped the entire song too. One time is not enough for me.

Love it!

This song really makes me wanna get up and start jumping around! I have a soft spot for triplets, that might be why I like this song so much!

Wait for it...

The beginning part of this song is kinda boring, but it's worth the wait to hear the rest of the song. I like the instrument that comes in half way through the song. The songs a little slow to start, but that's just my preference. The melody you've chosen works well with the song, and even better with that instrument, I feel. Sounds like a song that'd be playing at an interstellar transit station or something.

This isn't-

Op, there we go. Took a while for this song to get going. I feel like the build-up took a little too long, compared to the actual DnB part, which didn't last very long. Also, some of the notes in the piano part sounded out of place, maybe it's just me. The song sounded familiar, but I don't think I'd have picked up the requiem of a dream unless you'd said something. Maybe I'm just slow :P.

steelside responds:

Yeah, its kind of a let down isnt it? hmmmm..... thanks for the review!

Awesome!

This song makes me feel happy! :) What I like most about this song is the way that one instrument bends back and forth. Really makes this song awesome. The strumming noise in the background at 1:52 almost sounds out of tune, but it's just enough to sound good and give it it's own feel.

Really, this song and DavidOrr's Vitality are two songs I listen to to make me feel goooood on the inside! ;D

I'm glad! Thanks for the review. Like i said earlier, people tend to love or hate it as shown by the review below :P

Anyway it makes me happy to know you liked it.

This song does not leave my head!

The first time I heard this song, I think I listened to it like three times, cuz the song would not leave my mind! I think the song has a perfect length. If it went on any longer I think I'd get tired of it. The bass also works really well; it makes me wanna DANCE! :D
The only thing I would say is make the ending more solid. I feel like it's just sorta... Over. I've never played this Donkey Kong game, so I dunno what the original sounds like, but I bet this is much better anyway! :p
