I would rather you finish the game on a high note, then keep making them to the point where it drags on too long. The experience is more enjoyable this way.
Also, quick question:
Will Fleeing the Complex be remade? Because out of the whole series it has the best quality, and looks best, so I am wondering if you're going to need to remake it.
Also, thanks for not making too many spoilers. I really enjoy these games, it makes them more enjoyable when you don't make too many spoilers.
When the full collection gets released, I will be definintely be spending all my money on it. It could cost 1$ or 30$ for all I care.

Fleeing the Complex will be updated. I think it mostly just needs color work though. I hopefully shouldn't have to completely redraw any backgrounds. I'm glad you like no spoilers! It's tough cuz sometimes I do wanna show stuff but I want it to be a surprise for everyone!

Most of the games (save the first one) have alternate/multiple endings. If the 6th one is gonna be the final one, then will it have a "true ending" so to speak, and if so will Ellie be a part of it?
All endings are canon. Ellie will be in the final game don't you worry.
With the Government and Tophat Gang returning from 4 in 5, I can assume Ellie, one of the best characters, will return? I must admit...I ship them hard. Plus, Convict Allies is my favorite ending.
Of course, you'll see them all!

1. How much progress has been made?
2. The question I really wanna ask, breaking the bank been updated with medals or not?
I've updated the backgrounds in Escaping the Prison and Stealing the Diamond. BtB will prolly have achievements but nothing exciting. Prolly just completion achievements.
It's going to be sad to see a great game series end, but I guess all good thing must end eventually. I just want to say thank you for many fun games. They brought me joy. I can't wait until the next one comes out!
I figure it's better to end on my terms rather than pulling a Half-Life 3.
Question. Are you concern about any copyrights? Like for example, the item reel in Fleeing the Complex. Will this game be free or will it be paid?
I'll have to change a few things but I'm hoping to keep the spirit the same. It will be paid.

yes. The idea is for the entire collection to go on steam as one game.

OH NO!!! This is literally the saddest news I ever heard :-(, I am a big fan of the series and I literally can't believe that Henry Stickmin is coming to an end... I really appreciate everything you have done for the fans, and I really loved the whole entire series. It is my childhood and getting all the medals was really my most favorite segment... but every good game or show must come to an end, and I sort of expected it, but it literally still breaks my heart. I wish you good luck on working on the game, and a sincere thank you for what you have done for us. I will buy the 6th game for sure, and take your time Puff, we will be waiting! :D!!

I'M SO PUMPED!!!! You'd better believe I'll be counting down the days!!! By the way, here's an idea: what if you made the game with multiple endings as usual that go different ways, but once you get them all, you unlock one final ending that's the real one? Just a suggestion-feel free to use it if you wish, it's up to you :D
I've considered this but I don't want any one path to be the true path. Every path should be able to be a canon ending.
I may be silently weeping, but at the same time, I know that this last game is going to be absolutely wonderful! It's going to be difficult to wait until it's finished, but when it is, I'll be sure to buy the collection as soon as I possibly can! Playing through the first five games was simply amazing, so I have no doubt that the sixth one will be even better than the others! Keep up the good work!

Original 5 rough completion estimates
Just doing some rough estimates based on Puffballs most recent progress updates, I would say that updating the rest of the games in the series will probably take somewhere between 6-8 months. Based on those numbers we probably won't see anything concrete for the 6th game till early 2018.
Game 6 estimates
Again these are just rough estimates based on the updates Puffballs has given about his current progress. However, it took Puffballs about 10 months to make fleeing the complex, and while I don't know how easy it would be to integrate all 6 games into one collection, my guess is it's going to be a while. The collection probably won't get released until late 2018. Keep in mind these are not the most accurate estimates, but they do at least help set some expectations.
More conservative estimates
It is entirely possible that it won't take as long as I think. Infiltrating the Airship (3.5 years old) and Fleeing the Complex (only 1.4 years old ) are both relatively recent. This means there probably won't be as much to touch up. If this is the case Puffballs could be finished in as little as 5 months. We could possibly end up seeing something concrete for game 6 by the end of 2017. Although how long it will take for the games actual release will all depend on how big the game actually is, but we can say that it will at least be as big as Fleeing the Complex and so it will probably take at least 10 months to finish. So we could possibly be looking at a June 2018 release at the earliest.

This seems pretty accurate. I don't know how long it'll take to update the more recent ones but I think Stealing the Diamond will take the longest. Unless I end up really unhappy with some of the ItA backgrounds. I def think the finale will take longer than FtC, even though I had some rough patches when I worked on it (lots of days of getting nothing done).
I'll try and keep people up to date on a timeline but it's really hard to say and I don't like the stress of missing a deadline.
